Open Face Motorcycle Helmets

Open face motorcycle helmets are a popular choice for riders who want a lighter, more airy feel on the road. They are especially well suited to urban riding, scooter commuting, summer journeys, and classic or cruiser bikes where comfort, visibility, and easy day-to-day use matter most. Compared with full face helmets, open face helmets give a wider field of view and a more open riding experience, while flip up helmets offer extra chin protection and versatility for touring. For many city riders, an open face helmet strikes the right balance between comfort, convenience, and style.

When choosing the right open face helmet, fit should always come first. A helmet should feel secure and even around the head without painful pressure points. Riders should also think about visor style, whether they prefer a clear outer visor, an internal sun visor, or a peak for added character and weather protection. Weight is another key factor, particularly for commuting and shorter trips, as a lighter helmet can feel more comfortable in regular use. Good ventilation helps keep airflow moving in warmer conditions, while recognised safety certification gives added confidence that the helmet meets the required testing standards. Whether you ride through town every day or want a classic look for weekend rides, the right open face helmet can deliver comfort, practicality, and timeless style.
